How To Get Traffic From Pinterest

Today, we’re going to talk about how to get traffic from Pinterest.

We’re going to focus on how to use Pinterest to drive traffic to your blog and the right way to set it up.

Focusing on how you promote your content and how to use Pinterest to drive traffic to your website.

Also, we are going to look at how you can use Pinterest to build your list.

We all know the old phrase, “the money’s in the list,”

this is still as applicable today as it was when I started way back when with online marketing, and affiliate marketing.

You had to build your list, really critical to your business, and we’re going to look at list building later in this article.

If you read right to the end of this post, I’m going to show you how you can get guaranteed pins and shares on Pinterest.

It’s going to help you drive even more targeted traffic to your website and to your blog.

what is the first step

We need to take in getting Pinterest all lined up to drive your traffic to your website or blog?

The first thing is we’re going to create a business account.

If you already have a Pinterest account, you can do this directly from your personal account that you already have.

Or you can upgrade your personal account to a business account.

It’s free.

And what I’ve done is created a business account directly from my personal account, and it’s linked together automatically.

If you create your business account from your personal account, it allows you to copy across your existing boards.

And as we go through this methodology to start using Pinterest to drive traffic, you’ll see why that’s really important.

If you already started boards, being able to copy them across to your business account, it saves an awful lot of time.

The next thing you need to do

Once we’ve got that business account set up, the next thing you need to do is create the boards where you’re going to put your pins on.

That’s how Pinterest works.

You pin your images, your pictures, your pins, onto these boards.

Now, what you need to do is think about the niche that you’re in.

For myself, it’s making money online, so it’s what the niche-relevant subjects that are primary in your particular business focus are?

it’s email marketing, content marketing, paid traffic, free traffic, social media marketing, product creation, content creation, etc.

As you create these boards, make sure the titles are keyword-focused, and the descriptions in the boards are also keyword-focused.

Remember Pinterest is a search engine.

Designing your boards and your pins, keeping that in mind, you need nice, eye-catching, scroll-stopping images.

You absolutely need to keep on thinking about keywords and how people search on Pinterest

To ensure that you’re using the right keywords and hashtags, et cetera, on Pinterest.

Make sure you keep that in mind as you’re developing these boards.

The next thing you’re going to do

Is to find and pin 30 pins to your new board to start them going.

This will make your Pinterest look like it’s very active, it’ll give people things to look at as they come across your boards.

And once they’re looking at other people’s pins on your boards, they will start seeing your pins on a specific board that we’re going to be using to drive traffic.

Create your boards and the niche-relevant subjects.

Remember to use keywords, Pinterest is a search engine!

Once you’ve done that, we can move on to the next step.

Now, we’ve got your niche-specific boards set up.

The next thing that we need to do is create a board for your blog or your website.

You need to give that board the name of your blog, for my case, leecoppin.com.

On this board is you’re going to pin images related and linked to your blog posts.

Create interesting, eye-catching pins, keyword-related, that will drive people to the content on your blog site and your blog posts.

Think about what your pins are going to look like, they need to stand out on the boards

Think about the descriptions and using the keywords and the titles and your descriptions.

If you’ve written your blog posts and your regular content, correctly, you should have keyword-focused titles anyway.

You want to create multiple pins for each post using a different image

And mixing your keywords to catch as many people searching as you possibly can.

I’m doing this over a period of time.

I’m going back to the newest, to the oldest, and creating individual pins for them initially, and then going back and creating separate, additional pins for each of my blog posts.

Once you’ve got that done

you’ve done it for each of your blog post into multiple blog posts, let’s talk about how you can use Pinterest from your business account to build your list.

Create pins for your lead magnets, so, whatever your lead magnets are, whether they’re a video training, whether they’re checklists, whether they are ebooks, etc.,

create pins for these And pin them onto your board.

Link those to your lead capture page or squeeze page, so where people you can send them to so you can capture their email.

Again, these keywords and these descriptions make it enticing, sell your lead magnet in your description, and do multiple pins for each Lead Magnet.

This will allow you to use those pins once they’re being shared and people searching, to push people onto those squeeze pages and use it for lead capture.

This is an excellent, organic way of doing that. And as your pins get shared and as they move around, you will see you get more organic traffic.

One thing that you need to understand about Pinterest is the pins probably got a life of about seven days.

So you got to think about renewing new pins regularly for your content and for your lead magnet.

Keep it fresh that’s the way that you can drive more people to your newsletters and to your email lists, by creating pins for lead magnets and cycling them through and getting them shared.

How to get guaranteed share of your pins

The key to driving traffic is getting your pins re-pinned.

I’m am going to show you a way that you are guaranteed to get re-pins and your content shared.

The bonus of this is you’ll find a lot of other pins relevant to your niche that you can share

People will come back to look at your boards

They will see your lead magnet pins and your content pins more after.
